A two-year-old has died after a drowning incident that occurred Thursday night.

According to Brian Keeley with Northwest Fire, the boy succumbed to his conditions Saturday night.

Crews arrived on the scene Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. and found the boy in cardiac arrest. His parents were performing CPR.

The child was immediately rushed to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

The parents say they saw the child less than five minutes before he was found floating in the family pool.

The pool did not have any barriers.

As you can imagine the family is in need of privacy at this time while they cope with this loss. On behalf of the family we are requesting that their privacy be respected at this time, said Keeley.

TFD says no additional information will be released.
