Tucson police responded to a serious injury collision involving two pedestrians on Alvernon between Glenn and Flower on October 18.
The victims were both adult men and transported to Banner UMC with serious injuries.
On December 2, one of the pedestrians died from his injuries. He has been identified at 77-year-old Arthur Valenzuela Lopez.
The other pedestrian was treated at the hospital and has been released.
Both pedestrians were not in or near a crosswalk according to police.
Speed and impairment were not factors in the crash.
