The fight took place during a match between Salpointe Catholic High School and Canyon del Oro High School at a sectional meet at Safford High School on Feb. 2.

Video of the incident provided by Gila Valley Central appears to show a disgruntled wrestler who had been disqualified from a match attacking an adult after a match.

Police say officers were dispatched to the school at 3:30 p.m. to investigate the fight.

Officers say CDO wrestler Michael Buda, 18, tackled a Salpointe coach. Members of both teams tried to restrain Buda. His father, also named Michael Buda -- age 39 -- came down from the stands, crossed a barrier and came to the mat in an aggressive manner. Others restrained him as well.
