Two men were arrested for attempted murder in Nogales early Tuesday morning.
Nogales police officers responded to the 200 block of W. 1st Street to a report of a stabbing at around 2 a.m.
Officers located an 18-year-old male victim on the street with knife wounds to his arm and stomach.
He was treated on scene and transported to the hospital.
The investigation led to two suspects, identified later as 18-year-old Javier Cervantes Jr. and 19-year-old Ruben L. Martinez.
Police located the suspects at around 6 a.m. and arrested them without incident.
Martinez was booked into jail for 1 count of attempted 2nd degree murder and Cervantes Jr. was booked into jail for conspiracy to commit 2nd degree murder.
