Border Patrol agents stopped two separate smuggling attempts on Sunday.
Four illegal immigrants were arrested.
The first stopped happened at an immigration checkpoint near Three Points. During a secondary inspection of a Dodge Charger, agents found a Mexican national and a Guatemalan national in the trunk.
The female driver from Tucson was arrested for human smuggling.
The second incident happened near Sonoita on State Route 82 during a vehicle stop.A Chevrolet Cavalier was searched and agents found two Mexican men in the trunk.
In both incidents, the illegal immigrants are pending removal proceedings.
