The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an incident that left two people hospitalized Thursday evening.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 4500 block of South Palo Verde Road just before 6:30 p.m.
Both individuals involved were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Authorities stated there is no ongoing threat to the public following the encounter.
The case remains under active investigation.
