Northwest Fire responded to a two vehicle crash near I-10 and Twin Peaks on Wednesday night.
Deputy Chief Scott Hamblen says two people were taken to Banner University Medical Center with critical injuries. Fire crews are evaluating a third person involved.
One car sustained heavy damage, Hamblen said.
The onramp to eastbound I-10 at Twin Peaks was temporarily closed.
