TUCSON, Ariz. — A high school in the Tucson Unified School District is getting national attention in the latest U.S. News Best High Schools report.
According to the list, University High School is the 22nd best high school in America and the third best in Arizona.
Schools are ranked on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college, the website says.
Two other schools in Arizona were ranked ahead of University High School in the national rankings. Those schools are BASIS Chandler and BASIS Oro Valley.
