You know it’s been a good Monsoon when Tucson’s 2-week rain totals exceed Seattle’s.
Yep, you read that correctly.
Tucson had 4.54” of rain from July 10 to July 24, while Seattle has only seen 3.80” of rain since May 1st.
It should be said July and August are usually Seattle’s dry season. Tucson certainly can’t compete when it comes to annual rain totals.
Seattle has recorded more than 28 inches of rain since July 24, while Tucson’s airport has recorded just over 6 inches since the beginning of the year.
Here's a stat for you. Tucson, Arizona has received more rain in the past 2 weeks than Seattle has received since May 1st. #wawx
