TUCSON, Ariz. - A Tucsonan was one of 50 people to earn the right to buy a pass granting lifetime food at Olive Garden.
Each year, the restaurant chain sells $100 Never Ending Pasta Passes that sell out within seconds and grant nine weeks of unlimited meals holders. This year, the sale happened Thursday and all 24,000 passes sold out nearly immediately. Fifty winners had the opportunity to upgrade to a Nevernding Pasta Pass for an additional $400.
One of those 50 winners lives in Tucson, and has 48 hours to complete the upgrade.
Once all passes have been claimed, their feeding frenzies begin Sept. 23, along with the nine-week period for the Neverending Pasta Pass holders.
