TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) -- A 47-year-old Tucson woman was arrested after border patrol agents, with the help of a canine, found two illegal immigrants in her trunk.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection says it happened Monday at a checkpoint in Sonoita along Highway 83.
Agents say the two Mexican nationals did not know how to escape from the trunk in case of an emergency.
The driver now faces charges for human smuggling.
