Police identify barricade suspect

Tucson Police, including SWAT, are responding to a barricade situation on the city's south side Tuesday.

TPD says the suspect, 44-year-old Cully Hartnett, is in custody.

He faces charges of domestic violence aggravated assault, domestic violence kidnapping and aggravated domestic violence. He was booked into Pima County Jail. As of Wednesday morning, no bond had been set.

SWAT entered the home and found the man hiding in the attic of the home. He surrendered peacefully.

According to the Tucson Police Department, an adult man in his 50s, wanted for violent felony offenses is barricaded in a home near the 3400 block of South Liberty Avenue.

TPD says they have been at the home since 6:45 a.m.

According to police, there was a woman inside the home being held against her will. The woman was able to get out of the home safely.

Detectives are unable to determine if the man is still inside the home.
