The number of bee related calls that Arizona Pest Control has received in the first week of April has increased 46 percent from the first week of April in 2015, according to Dino Velagic, the Quality Assurance Manager at APC.
Velagic says the company received 40 calls in April in 2015. That month was the busiest ever for APC as they received 332 calls in total.
Through the first week of April, Velagic says they have received 75 calls. He believes this month could end up surpassing the 332 mark from last year.
