Officers from the Tucson Police Department helped deliver a baby boy early Monday morning.
Just before 2:30 a.m. Officer Joshua Parrish and Officer troy Lansdale were in the area of I-10 and Speedway when a vehicle pulled alongside of them and asked for help.
The officers pulled to the side of the road and learned that the passenger of the vehicle was in labor.
Officers called for paramedics and began assisting the woman.
The officers were able to talk the mother through the birth and a baby boy was born at the scene.
Both the mother and the baby were later transported to the hospital in good health.
