The Tucson Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a carjacking suspect.
According to TPD, the suspect entered the victim's car without permission and demanded to be driven to the grocery store near E. Speedway Blvd and N. Swan Road.
Upon entering the grocery store's parking lot, the woman assaulted the victim. The victim was able to escape with minor injuries.
The suspect fled the scene in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle has since been located.
The suspect is described as:
- White female in her thirties
- Medium to heavy set
- She may have recently had an injury to her left foot
