UPDATE (2:09 p.m., April 1):
An interim complaint on the road rage incident that took place on Tucson's south-east side last week provides more information on the timeline of events.
According to the complaint, the victim reported to authorities that she was driving eastbound on Golf Links Road, near Hearthstone, when a black Dodge Ram pickup truck began following her.
See TPD Robbery's tweet about her capture here
The victim said, the suspect "made actions consistent with trying to force her vehicle off the roadway."
As the victim's vehicle neared Harrison Road, the female driver, identified as Emily Wilkinson, repeatedly revved her engine and attempted to pass, the complaint said.
The victim said Wilkinson pulled alongside her vehicle and pointed a gun in her direction, the complaint said.
The victim used her cell phone to record that part of the incident. The video shows Wilkinson pointing a gun toward the victim's vehicle, with her finger appearing to be on the trigger, the complaint said.
The complaint said four children, all under the age of 13, were in the victim's vehicle at the time.
Tucson Police released images of Wilkinson on Monday, asking the public for information on who she was. A caller identified the suspect as Wilkinson on Tuesday. Officers found a matching Dodge Ram at her residence.
Wilkinson admitted to being involved in a road rage incident during the interview with TPD, the complaint said. She said the victim was operating recklessly and pointed a gun at her first, which is why she pulled out her gun, in "self defense."
Wilkinson told TPD that she did not see the children at first, and lowered her gun when she finally did, the complaint said.
She said her gun was not loaded, the complaint said.
The interim complaint said, upon a review of the video evidence, the victim's vehicle passed Wilkinson's truck, which is when Wilkinson is seen pointing her gun. The complaint said Wilkinson passes the victim's vehicle again, with no firearm visible, but with Wilkinson yelling out the window.
Wilkinson was unable to explain why she re-approached the victim's vehicle if she feared for her safety, the complaint said.
Wilkinson said she did not call 911 until after seeing herself in the media release.
