Tucson Police looking for bank robbery suspect

Tucson Police are asking the public for help in identifying and locating the suspect of a bank robbery on Thursday, June 7.

The robbery happened around 10:10 a.m. at the U.S. Bank inside the Safeway at 2140 W. Grant Rd.

The suspect approached two tellers and demanded money. After the was given the money she left the store on foot.

The suspect has been described as a Hispanic or Native American woman, 50 to 60 years old, 5'3" tall, and 200 lbs.

Police say she spoke both English and Spanish and was last seen wearing a plaid long-sleeve shirt, black scarf on her head, and black sunglasses.
