Tucson police search for pharmacy robber

Tucson police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed several eastside pharmacies in the last week.

On April 10, around 6:30 p.m., a man entered the Walgreen’s store located at 9495 E. Speedway Blvd.

A man had walked back to the pharmacy and jumped over the counter. He demanded prescription drugs from the employee while armed with a tool.

On April 11, around 8:20 p.m., the same man robbed the Walgreen’s store located at 9184 E. Valencia Rd.

In both incidents, he was wearing a red knit hat, gray sweat shirt, and gloves.

On April 15, around 6 p.m., the same man entered the CVS store located at 8705 E. Speedway Blvd. He walked back to the pharmacy and jumped over the counter and again demanded prescription drugs from the employee.

That same night, around 8:45 p.m., the man entered the Walgreen’s store at 6767 E. Broadway Blvd and went to the pharmacy. He jumped over the counter and demanded prescription drugs from the employee.

 

 

In these incidents, he was wearing a gray baseball hat, teal Hawaiian shirt, and tan pants.

The suspect is described as an African-American male, 6’4”, thin to medium build with possible facial hair.
