Tucson Police identify victim in homicide

The Tucson Police Department has identified the victim in Friday night's homicide.

According to TPD, officers arrived at a motel located at 1990 S. Craycroft Rd at 10:00 p.m. and found a man in the front parking lot with signs of trauma. The man has been identified as 36-year-old Jeremy Broussard.

After being transported to Banner UMC with life-threatening injuries, the Broussard died at the hospital.

Detectives from the Tucson Police Department Homicide Unit are in the early stages of investigating but have said that the victim was in an altercation in the parking lot.
