TUCSON, Ariz. — Detectives with the Tucson Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred near Pima and Wilmot Wednesday morning.
According to Sgt. Pete Dugan, officers responded to multiple reports of gunshots at the Las Colinas apartment complex.
When officers arrived, they located 17-year-old David Ruggiero in the parking lot with signs of gunshot trauma.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Ruggiero went missing Wednesday according to multiple Facebook messages from friends and family to KGUN 9.
Sergeant Dugan says there are no suspects in custody at this time.
