Tucson Police are investigating a homicide in the 3100 block of North Richey.

It happened south of Fort Lowell between Country Club and Dodge.

According to Sgt. Kimberly Bay, TPD recieved multiple calls about shots fired around 8:10 p.m. When they arrived on scene they found one man in the street who had been shot.

He was transported to the hospital where he later died.

One person who may be connected to the shooting was being questioned by police. There is no other information about a possible suspect, Bay said.

Bay says there may have been other people in the area that saw something, and they are urged to contact police at 911 or 88-CRIME.
