Tucson Police investigating homicide

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson Police have identified the victim killed in a deadly shooting Sunday morning as 24-year-old Eliseo Alberto Sortillon Lopez.

The early morning homicide is still an ongoing investigation, according to Sgt. Pete Dugan of the Tucson Police Department.

Officers responded to the 6200 block of South Park Ave. just before 6:30 a.m in reference to shots being fired.

When officers arrived they found

Lopez

with obvious signs of gunshot trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives learned multiple people were in the area during the shooting. Several vehicles were seen leaving after shots were fired.
