Looking for a Christmas idea? There is a way you can give back to the Tucson Police Department after two of their officers were hurt in a shooting last week.
Just weeks before, the Tucson Police Foundation had provided bulletproof vests to 36 officers.
Vests need to be updated every five years to remain viable.
Since 2011, the foundation has provided more than 400 Tucson police officers with ballistic vests.
The foundation is encouraging the public to "adopt a cop" by giving the lifesaving gift of a vest to an officer this Christmas season.
To donate, you can head to the foundation's website here.
