The Governor's Office of Highways Safety awarded the Tucson Police Department a $55,000 grant to enhance DUI enforcement efforts.
TPD will have more officers on DUI patrols during holidays and weekend nights.
Officers hope these patrols will lead to less impaired drivers on the road.
TPD will continue to participate in the Southern Arizona DUI Task Force next year with other law enforcement agencies.
