Tucson native Kevin Peraza won his first X Games event in Austin, Texas.
Peraza graduated from Sunnyside High School and at 21-years-old is one of the youngest BMX competitors in the X Games.
He competed in two events, Park and Dirt, and won the gold medal in Dirt with a score of 88. He finished in 7th place last year.
