A Tucson man was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison, after previously pleading guilty to voluntary manslaughter.
According to a news release from the United States Attorney's Office, District of Arizona, 36-year-old Santiago Luis Valencia assaulted the victim at a private residence on the Pascua Yaqui Tribe after initiating a physical altercation.
The victim suffered a head injury that resulted in his death the following day, the news release said.
