TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A Tucson man has been convicted of a 2017 murder.

Pima County prosecutors say a jury Tuesday found 51-year-old Scott Lee Baucom guilty of first-degree murder, armed robbery, vehicle theft and credit card theft.

He's scheduled to be sentenced in October.

Baucom was accused of robbing and fatally shooting 46-year-old Mitchell Smith in March 2017.

Tucson police say Smith's body was found inside his home and his vehicle was missing.

They say Baucom was later found near the vehicle and was carrying several items that belonged to Smith.
