TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - A jury found Ricardo Jimenez guilty of two counts of aggravated assault on Thursday.
According to a release, when the victim turned down Jimenez's sexual advances at a party he pistol-whipped her in the head between 5 and 7 times.
The victim had significant head injuries from the beating.
He then pointed a gun at the victim and told her she had 10 seconds to run or he would shoot.
She ran away and looked for help, leaving behind her purse and a pool of blood.
Jimenez was later found at the same party with a gun that had the victim's blood on it.
He was identified by the victim in a photo lineup.
