Tucson Homeless Connect host one-stop shop to help the homeless with basic needs

A Tucson program is giving homeless people in our community the tools they need to improve their lives.

Tucson Homeless Connect will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 8:30 am to 11:30 pm at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 400 E. University Blvd. 

The following services are available at this one-day, one-stop event: 

  • Info on obtaining ID's
  • Help with benefits
  • Health screening
  • Shelter/ housing
  • Homeless court 
  • Ticket assistance
  • Legal assistance
  • Clothing and haircuts
  • Animal Care and Grooming

This is the 17th event of its kind to be held in Tucson and is designed to help homeless individuals and their family to get off the streets

The mission of Tucson Homeless Connect is to provide a single location where local agencies, government, businesses, medical providers and the faith community collaborate to help the homeless persons with basic needs, referrals and advocacy.
