Tucson hit its first 90-degree day of 2026 this afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service Tucson, the city hit that temp at 2:35 p.m. at Tucson International Airport.

While warm for March, the hot day didn't set any records. The hottest March 2 on record in Tucson was 91°F, set in 2009, according to the NWS.
