TUCSON, Ariz. - A mission to cure heart disease and stroke is happening Saturday evening.
The Tucson heart and stroke walk is raising awareness, and funds for research efforts made by the American Heart Association.
According to the AHA, more than two-thousand Americans die from heart disease every day.
Donations help create new technologies that help extend patients lives.
Tonight a 5K walk starts at 6:00 p.m. at Reid Park's Outdoor Performance Center.
The event is open to the public.
