TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Tucson food tours have been around for a few years now but they are gaining more momentum now than ever before.
Guests of the tour meet at Hotel Congress and walk two miles around the streets of downtown.
Along the way you get a chance to hop to and from six locally owned restaurants all while getting a taste of their specialty dishes.
Owner and tour guide Brad Lawrence said "I really appreciate the fact that you're keeping all the money here in Tucson. It's going right back into the city. And usually you have a better product. Better quality fresher food and a more interesting story behind it so its good to support the local businesses because of that."
Restaurant stops on the tour include Empire Pizza, El Charro Cafe, The Hub, Sparkroot, La Cocina and Reilly's.
Tickets include the price of food at every stop and non-alcoholic beverages.
