TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Earlier this week, the Tucson Fire Department rescued an older woman who slid down a steep ditch into a wash near Bonanza Avenue and Broadway Boulevard.
According to TFD, she had been there for about three hours before a bystander called 911.
Tucson Fire used its new ‘HOT seat’ to safely bring her up from the wash.
TFD says she was uninjured, declined ambulance transport and was able to walk home, where crews reunited her with her husband.
