TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Fire Department responds to a fifth abandoned building fire.
TFD says, they received a 911 phone call from a security guard at a nearby apartment complex at approximately 4:15 a.m.
There were reports of smoke.
A single fire engine company was called to investigate.
The Captain to arrive on scene requested back up from Tucson Police Department due to booby traps from previous responses to this building.
Crews were able to control the fire within ten minutes.
This is the fifth working fire incident at this abandoned building since December of 2018.
No firefighters were injured.
