Today is Mexican Independence Day, and many Tucsonans are celebrating.
The celebration starts at 5 p.m., at Armory Park in downtown Tucson, and runs until 11 p.m. tonight.
Mexican Independence Day, or "El Grito," is the start of the revolution that led to Spain's departure from Mexico.
