The familiar groan of the garbage truck may elicit a feeling of dread. "'Did I remember to take out those pizza boxes?'" you may think.

But the sight and sound of the squeaky wheels can only be described as a moment of pure joy for a pair of soon-to-be three-year-olds.

Their parents say Caleb and James are two peas in a pod. The talkative toddlers share toys a few days a week. The chatter stops though the moment the truck drives by.

James' mom Casey Scott-Lopez shared video of the boys watching the recycle truck a few weeks ago. The boys were silent, in awe of the truck's tricks.

"I was checking the trash to see if they had already picked it up because we had some extra recycle stuff," Scott-Lopez said. "And when I came out the boys wanted to follow me out and once they heard the trucks on the other streets -- they wanted to stay. And we could not leave until they saw the truck."

When KGUN9 shared the video on Facebook, one woman wrote her son also loves to do that and even had a garbage truck birthday party.

Another woman left the following comment:

"That trash-person needs a high five! seriously - with how 'busy' people are, took an extra minute to make two kids smile!!! you rock whoever you are!"

In the video it appears the driver is putting on a show for the boys, extending the claws, etc. It was something Scott-Lopez wasn't expecting.

"I think it's just the fact that it's a big truck, and it's loud and it does cool stuff," she said. "Like it's got all these different elements like where there's a claw coming out and they're picking up the trash."

KGUN9 spoke to the driver who politely declined an interview. He said he wanted to make it about the kids.
