TUCSON, Ariz. — A new adoption center is coming to the north side of Tucson.
Tucson Rescue Now is opening a dog adoption center at the La Encantada shopping center near Cambell and Sunrise. It's opening at the former Humane Society location in the upstairs area across from Anthropologie.
The Pima Animal Care Center says some of their dogs will be available for adoption at the La Encantada storefront.
The rescue is hosting a fundraiser Friday night at the new location to help get it off the ground. It's happening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature food from North Italia and "adult frozen drinks" from Hypothermias Shave Ice. Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase on their Facebook event page.
