Travel restrictions begin Wednesday at 9 p.m. as crews begin the new Ajo Way bridge over Interstate 19.
I-19 on and off ramps at Ajo will close Wednesday, July 12th until Friday, July 14th.
Crews are preparing access roads and installing traffic signals.
I-19 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from one mile north of Ajo Way to one mile South.
Another project affecting the area, the southbound off-ramp and the northbound on-ramp are scheduled to remain closed until late August.
A-DOT is encouraging drivers the ramps at 29th Street or Irvington Road.
Crews are widening the Ajo Way bridge and the project is expected to continue though Summer 2018.
A-DOT will be adding ramps and walls to reduce noise in nearby neighborhoods and commercials areas.
