The third annual TRAK Harvest Festival was held Sunday.

This event allows locals to come out to the Therapeutic Ranch on Allen Road to have some fun while working with animals.

Organizers say the event is also good for installing confidence in those with special needs.

TRAK development director Melinda Sharma says "A child with disabilities um they are treated like they can't do anything. And they get this feeling that they can't do anything. And what we see in every kid is potential. And we strengthen that potential in them by making them animal ambassadors. We teach them all about the animals and then they become the cool kid."

This was the second day of the festival in addition to the animal fun there was a pumpkin patch, face painting, and carnival games to keep folks entertained.
