A Union Pacific train collided with a vehicle south of downtown Friday morning.
According to information from Union Pacific, the vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the crash, which occurred at East 18th Street and South Jacobus Avenue. The collision did not take place at a crossing.
The train crew was not injured, Union Pacific said.
Tucson Police responded to the incident.
