YUMA, Ariz. (AP) - Federal officials say a traffic stop in a southwestern Arizona border town led to an arrest and the seizure of 527 pounds (239 kilograms) of methamphetamine with a street value of nearly $7.2 million.

The Department of Homeland Security said 95 pounds of the methamphetamine were found in a speeding vehicle stopped Saturday by the San Luis Police Department and that Homeland Security Investigations agents then got a search warrant and found the rest of the drugs at the driver's home.

The department said in a statement Thursday that Angel Leon-Camberos was arrested on suspicion of multiple state drug charges including importation/transportation of dangerous drugs, misconduct involving weapons, and possession of narcotics for sale.

Online court records don't list an attorney for Leon-Camberos who could comment on the allegations.
