TUCSON, Ariz. — A deadly crash involving a motorcycle and an SUV shut down 6th Street Wednesday morning.
Tucson Police closed 6th Street is closed between Tucson Blvd and Campbell Ave at around 10:00 a.m. Police say the crash happened at Plumer Avenue.
Tucson Fire Medics rushed the motorcyclist -- identified as 33-year-old Kyle Gabbard -- to the hospital, where he died, TPD said.
Police say the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee stopped at a stop sign at the intersection on Plumer Ave, then crossed into the intersection where the SUV collided with the motorcycle.
