TPD seeks to identify eastside serial armed robber

The Tucson Police Department is looking to identify a serial armed robber who has struck 5 times on the east side of Tucson. 

Most recently the man robbed a Walgreens located at 10315 E. Broadway on April 20.

Around 7:20 p.m. the man jumped over the counter of the pharmacy with a tool and demanded prescription drugs. 

He was given some items and fled in an unknown direction. 

The suspect is described as an African-American male between 30 to 40 years old. He is between 5'11" and 6'2" with an average build. 

If you see this man or have any information about the robberies you are asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME. 

On April 15 around 6 p.m., the suspect robbed the CVS located at 8705 E Speedway Boulevard in a similar way while armed with a tool. 

That same night about 3 hours later, the man entered the Walgreens at 6767 E Broadway and went to the pharmacy. He again jumped the counter and demanded prescription drugs. 

The suspect is also believed to be linked to two other robberies. One happened on April 10 at the Walgreens on 8495 E Speedway and on April 11 at the Walgreens on 9184 E Valencia.
