TPD searching for suspect involved in deadly shooting near Grant and Oracle roads

TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Friday night.

The victim has been identified as 24 year-old Bernardo Ramirez-Ramirez.

Police were called to the area of 2332 North Oracle Road around 10:45 p.m. and found a man with obvious signs of gunshot trauma inside the business.

Ramirez-Ramirez was taken to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

Ramirez-Ramirez died from his injuries.

TPD say the suspect was inside the business when Ramirez-Ramirez entered the business.

An argument broke out between the suspect and Ramirez-Ramirez.

The suspect continued to purchase an item. After the purchase the argument continued between the two.

The confrontation became physical and during the fight the suspect took out a handgun.

Ramirez-Ramirez was shot at least once.

The suspect fled the scene on foot and has not been found.
