This morning two officers from the Tucson Police Department's Operations West Division responded to help a homeowner whose dog was trapped under a shed in the 700 block of West Vancouver.
Officer Travis Napier and Officer Chris Ciarvella were able to rescue the dog and found a mother cat along with her kittens.
All animals are doing well and the homeowner is caring for the kittens.
