TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Police are investigating a suspicious death near midtown Monday.
TPD says they are investigating the death at 3800 block east Blacklidge Road between Fort Lowell Road and Glenn Street.
TPD says officers went to the home for a welfare check.
Upon arrival police discovered a man in his 60s in the backyard with self-inflicted wounds.
The man was taken to the hospital.
TPD searched the home and found a woman in her 80s dead.
The woman has no signs of trauma.
