TUCSON, Ariz. - A pedestrian involved in a collision near First and Glenn earlier this month has died from injuries.
The Tucson Police Department identified the pedestrian Monday as 60-year-old Gordon Mackey. The incident happened on May 7, just after 8:00 p.m.
Following an investigation, TPD says Mackey was struck while crossing First avenue from east to west. Police say he was not in a crosswalk.
The driver of the truck did stay on scene.
TPD says speed was not a factor.
