Tucson Police has identified the victim of a homicide near Country Club and 36th Street.
Investigators say there was a report of a man lying on the ground in front of a residence around noon Wednesday. When officers arrived, they found 37-year-old Osachafo Jamal Brewer with obvious gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to TPD, gang detectives are investigating the incident but it is uncertain at this time whether the homicide is gang-related.
