The Tucson Police Department has identified the three victims of Thursday's shooting at Lakeside Park.
According to TPD, the three victims are 21-year-old Matthew Favela, 16-year-old Carlos Ross, and 16-year-old Amonn Sandoval.
Since the incident occurred, detectives have learned that Favela and Ross and two friends drove to the park to meet with Sandoval and an unknown man. After a brief conversation between the groups, Favela, Ross and Sandoval were all struck by gunfire.
The two friends in the car were not injured and remained on the scene.
The unknown man left the scene before police arrived. TPD says they do not know if he was injured.
Detectives are still searching for him to get answers about what happened during this incident.
TPD says this incident is not gang-related. No arrests have been made.
