The Tucson Police Department has released new information on a pedestrian collision that happened on September 26, 2017 around 5:11 a.m.
According to TPD, the pedestrian struck passed away from injuries on May 22, 2018.
He has been identified as 38-year-old Daniel Atzman.
The crash happened on S. Country Club Rd. near E. Bilby Rd.
Detectives learned the driver of the vehicle struck Atzman as he was crossing Country Club Rd.
Atzman was not in a crosswalk.
Neither speed nor alcohol appeared to be a factor in the collision.
